From the South:

Take Route 95 to the Maine Turnpike, Exit 52 and follow the sign for Freeport- Brunswick Route 295, then Exit 28 (Brunswick) to Coastal Route 1 north through Bath and Wiscasset. In Newcastle, turn right on to Business Route 1 (second right after the Dodge/Jeep dealership). Follow Business Route l to downtown Damariscotta. Turn right after the First National Bank on to Bristol Road (Route 130) until you reach New Harbor. Turn left at Harbor Ice Cream and left again on to South Side Road down the hill until you see the sign on the right for the Moorings office.



After your arrival in Damariscotta, take heart, you have almost reached your destination-the Moorings in New Harbor. Remember, the next 11 miles out to the peninsula brings you to one of the best kept secrets in all of Maine: a peaceful fishing harbor, cooler temperatures, and a non-commercial area.



From the North:

Take Coastal Route 1 South to Waldoboro. Turn left onto Route 32 at McDonald's.

Follow Route 32 (Maine Scenic Route) for approximately 19 miles to New Harbor.

Turn left and stay left at Harbor Ice Cream. Take another left onto South Side Road down the hill until you see the sign on the right for The Moorings office.
